Dairy Free Basil Pesto

We all love Basil pesto right? I have tried the jars off the shelf that look so delicious but are always disappointing! Nothing beats fresh. This recipe is hard to get wrong no matter the measurements.  It’s delicious every time and so quick!

 

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup pine nuts
  • 1 1/2 cups basil
  • 1 cup baby spinach leaves
  • 3 small garlic cloves
  • 1/4 cup nutritional yeast flakes
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • fresh parsley to garnish

Method

  1.  Combine all ingredients in a food processor or blender until you have the consistency you desire! Seriously it’s that simple! Use as a dip full of nutrients or put on your favourite healthy pasta!
