Lend me your ears: How to protect your hearing
Many of us have an older relative with hearing loss – my Dad’s began in his late 40s. Prevention is obviously better than treatment and so I ensure that my family and I are getting what we need for optimum hearing health. That means adding naturally occurring folate to our diets, boosting our immune systems with whole food supplements, and ensuring we protect our ears with ear defenders or plugs at loud events.
