Milk Matters: Breastfeeding at the Pool

In the Southern Hemisphere temperatures are heating up it is finally time to shed the jumpers and jeans and throw on a pair of bathers.  Pool season is upon us! But what does that mean for you if you have a nursing baby? Should you express and bring a bottle to a public pool, or can you just whip out the boob and proceed as normal? I never hesitated to feed my babies poolside, it’s just not practical to completely leave the water, especially if you have another kid swimming.  And why should you?
